New Build Apartments with Panoramic Sea Views in Torrenueva, Mijas

A new development of 54 apartments in Torrenueva, on the Mijas Costa, lies 500 metres from the beach and around 25 minutes from Marbella. The buildings are south-facing, giving each home—from one-bedroom apartments to three-bedroom penthouses—broad views of the Mediterranean. Ground-floor units have private gardens; upper-floor homes have large terraces, and the penthouses come with rooftop solariums.

Inside, the layout is open plan: the living room, dining area and kitchen flow together, with full-height windows extending the space onto the terrace. The kitchens are fitted with integrated appliances, and the specification includes aerothermal heating and cooling, electric shutters in the bedrooms, double glazing, and built-in wardrobes. Bathrooms are finished with contemporary fittings. The design is straightforward, aiming for light and practicality rather than embellishment.

The communal areas are generous: an outdoor swimming pool, a heated indoor pool, a gym, a chill-out zone, and landscaped Mediterranean gardens. Residents also have access to the nearby tennis club. The development sits in a quiet residential area, yet the beach is a five-minute walk, and the town centre of La Cala de Mijas is two kilometres away. For golfers, Miraflores Golf is two kilometres, Calanova Golf Club six, and La Cala Golf Resort ten.

The wider location is well connected. Fuengirola is 12 kilometres east, Marbella 25 kilometres west, and Málaga airport 38 kilometres (the city centre is 42 kilometres). The coast here has a string of small coves and beach clubs, and the coastal path runs through the area. If you would like to see the development in person, a viewing trip can be arranged.
